This white Stain Blocker prevents stains and discolouration of your work while and after you have painted. As most wood contains tannins, these brownish or tan discolourations can occur when the paint is applied over just wood and old layers of paint. Especially oak, redwood, cedar, and mahogany, or over knots in certain other wood species show this brown tannin stain problems. This Stain Blocker creates a protective barrier that prevents tannins and stains from bleeding through the paint. It also acts like a primer, allowing a better adhesion of the paint.
-Apply two thin coats. Dry to the touch in one hour. Reapply in 3 hours.
